Over 50 years of combined wind and engineering expertise

Curt Eliason
President/CEO
Curt started his wind career in 1998. Over the next 25+ years, he developed various specialized procedures to make mechanical repairs more efficient. In 2009, he co-founded an industry recognized Independent Service Provider and helped grow that company to over 300 employees in 10 years. He then decided to step away from wind for a time to focus on other interests. Missing the challenges and successes of the industry, he created GEARED.

Lyndon Redmann
Director of Field Services
Lyndon began his wind career in 2014 as a field technician. He quickly developed and demonstrated his aptitude, becoming a Specialty Services Crew Leader able to complete complex component repair procedures and major component replacements. He has led crews across the country, encouraging safety and quality along the way. These values will be instilled in GEARED’s crews with him at the helm. Lyndon is also an active member of the South Dakota Army National Guard as a Combat Engineer.

Dylan Hill
Director of Technology
Dylan began his wind career in 2016 as a Specialty Service Technician. Using his mechanical aptitude from repairing equipment on his family’s farm and his formal welding training from Lake Area Technical Institute, he quickly developed into a reliable and dependable Crew Lead assigned to numerous complex and difficult repairs. He is an American Welding Society (AWS) Certified welder with exceptional skill. His ability to create improvements in various processes lends itself well to GEARED’s overall mission.

Cooper Eliason
Director of Business Development
Starting as a field technician in 2016, Cooper has worked across North America on a variety of uptower repair jobs. He earned his B.S. in Operations Management with a focus on Manufacturing Engineering from South Dakota State University and has been engaged as a Field Engineer for the past few years. He is proficient in using SolidWorks and designing solutions for various challenges. Cooper is an active member of the South Dakota Air National Guard as an F16 Crew Chief.
